關於《光里的介質 Light between mediums》– 陳姵含 × 劉思伶
物理學的光是由不同波長顏色所組成。
當太陽光照射到大氣中的水滴，水滴就如同多個球型透鏡的介質，透過光線被折射及反射，在天空形成七彩光譜。
光里的介質 Light between mediums展覽概念以「光」作為所有色彩的原點，藉由藝術家於日常光景的觀察及對生活的想像，透過兩位各自截然不同的創作風格，折射出豐沛繽紛的視覺意象。
本次聯展兩位藝術家之系列作品：
劉思伶實驗攝影《日常幻像Visual Illusions》以及陳姵含壓克力複合媒材《隱色赤膀The invisible wings》，各自帶來日常光景裡，於想像力的不同詮釋與生活探討。
《日常幻像Visual Illusions》為劉思伶於日常生活中觀察到的各種美，激發靈感創作的攝影藝術。透過觀察的各式畫面，從材質紋理、光影於空間之交錯至色彩線條組合等，經由重新設計，由物件本質至空間畫面，形成一系列看似不存於日常中的美麗幻像。
《隱色赤膀The invisible wings》為陳姵含透過社會生活之自我探討，以現代人在社會中迷失自我的恐懼不安與矛盾作為靈感出發。系列作品以三角構圖，描繪出一個空間兩個世界，象徵現實及內心不同的兩種感受，並以寫實及幻想性的童趣抽象為對比。我們都生長於非童話，因此可望童話，我們都被現實綁架，因此渴望自由。
Physics states that light is composed of different wavelength colors. When sunlight passes through droplets in the atmosphere, the droplets act as multiple spherical lenses, refracting and reflecting the light to form a rainbow in the sky.
The "Light between mediums" exhibition concept takes "light" as the origin of all colors. Through the artists' observations and imaginations of everyday life, two completely different creative styles refract a rich and vibrant artworks.
The joint exhibition showcases two series of works by the artists:
Szu Ling Liu's experimental photography "Visual Illusions" and Pei Han Chen's acrylic mixed media "The invisible wings". Both bring their own interpretations and explorations of life from their observation of everyday light scenes.
"Visual Illusions" is Szu Ling Liu's photography art inspired by the beauty she observed in daily life. Through observing various scenes, including material textures, the interweaving of light and shadow in space, and the combination of color lines, she re-designs the works to form a series of seemingly non-existent beautiful illusions, from the essence of objects to the spaces.
"The invisible wings" is Pei Han Chen's self-exploration of society, inspired by the fear, anxiety, and conflicts of modern people who have lost themselves in society. The series of works portrays two worlds in a space with a triangular composition, symbolizing two different feelings of reality and the inner self. The contrast between realism and fantastical childhood abstractions represents our growth in the non-fairytale world and our longing for freedom from the shackles of reality.

創作核心著重在自然、奇幻和童趣領域的探討與表現。
擅長壓克力顏料、鉛筆及繡線畫複合媒材，輔以文辭創作，富含細膩及鮮明情感，創作內容有時會以常理不符或跳脫現實，於空間上深度與多維布局及不同媒材間的交互補足，呈現出形式和心理層面的豐富性。
創作曾在美術館及藝術博覽會等多處展出，並於美術館典藏。
榮獲多項國內外插畫、設計、藝術與文學獎項。
於美國 3x3 國際當代插畫大賽（3x3 International Illustration Show）、How 國際設計獎（HOW International Design Awards）、JIA 國際插畫大獎（JIA Illustration Competition）、國際藝術家大獎、Hiii-Illustration 國際插畫大賽、桃源創作獎、NUTCPackageDesign、MicrosoftSurface 平面設計大賽、華燦獎新銳設計、The International Chinese Zodiac Design Competition 及國內各美展等均獲肯定。

劉思伶兼具藥師及新銳視覺藝術家跨領域身份。
畢業於臺灣大學藥學系 (2010) 與臺灣藝術大學視覺傳達設計系(2016) ，創作同時帶有科學理性與感性視角，於跨域間擁有獨到觀點與見解，透過不同觀察角度與思維進行創作。
藉由數位藝術、設計攝影，表達對於現實、世界之觀點，同時也重新探究生命、內在情感與大自然，作品風格以「實驗性」與「前衛抽象」為主，提倡生命獨特性與無限可能之創作精神。
近期以混合媒材創作當代社會現象與環境議題。
以攝影、平面設計、實驗影像及繪畫形式創作為主，並於多領域均有獲獎紀錄。
於 2016 年開始創作，2017 年入選參與日本東京國際藝術博覽會（Tokyo International Art Fair)，並於法國國際攝影大賽（PX3 Awards) 榮獲 Golden Winner，亦入選至美國 Adobe 卓越設計大賽（Adobe Design Achievement Awards) 決選，於英國倫敦國際美術攝影獎 （Fine Art Photography Awards）、美國洛杉磯國際攝影獎 （International Photography Awards）等等。2018 年平面設計作品榮獲美國 IDA 國際設計獎 International Design Awards 銅牌與榮譽入選。
繪畫作品於 2021 獲選倫敦國際創意大賽 London International Creative Competition TOP 100 Shortlist，仍持續探索嘗試與累積各試可能性。
藝術家以詩與繪畫的模式創作攝影。
作品為系列日常的詩意紀錄，在數位時代影響之下，探討自我與數位時代間的關係，藉由數位探究回歸純粹的本質，或於現實與數位之虛幻空間裡，尋其待被解讀之無限空間與想像。
